Summary of Responsibility:
HFO Midwest is a division of Morris Group, Inc., one of the largest machine tool distribution networks in North America. It is a regional distributor of CNC machine tools, tooling and accessories, and related engineering and support services. HFO Midwest is seeking an ambitious and conscientious Service Coordinator. This role will provide exciting opportunities to work for a dynamic company in a fast-paced, growing industry. The Service Coordinator will provide the highest level of service to our customers regarding work order entry, dispatching Field Service Technicians, and data/system management. This person will interface with customers over the phone, via email and provide information to our customers when necessary.
What You Will Contribute:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and customer service
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of our services to our customers
- Monitor service requests and assign technicians to appropriate jobs
- Communicate with customers to schedule appointments and provide updates on service status
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, work orders, and customer interactions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and timely service delivery

Qualifications & Competencies:
- Good interpersonal skills as well as some sort of customer service background
- Ability to remain polite and helpful even when under pressure or extremely busy
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other related business programs: types at least 40 wpm
- A mechanical aptitude with the ability to comprehend drawings and charts
- Previous experience in manufacturing is a plus, but not a requirement
